Fredericton Playhouse Inc., a charitable non-profit organization which manages and develops a 709-seat performance venue, has an opening for a Development Director to join our team.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Director is responsible for the ongoing management and development of the organization’s foundation/government grant portfolio, donor program, sponsorship portfolio, and special fundraising events and campaigns.
The successful candidate will have a combination of experience and training in professional fundraising, sales, and/or non-profit administration.
First and foremost, they can demonstrate superior writing, presentation and interpersonal skills. They can also demonstrate their competency in performing research, making proposals, self organizing, using technology (computer skills), and collaborating. They will also have an appreciation of the public value of the performing arts (music, theatre, dance, etc.).
Remuneration will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and training. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, the starting salary range for this position is $45,900 to $55,080.
