You understand the business of performing arts; whether a theatre professional or a business leader with an abiding passion for dance or theatre, you understand the nature of leadership in a collaborative culture. Working alongside the Artistic Director, you will support the Company’s drive for excellence, development of new repertoire, and international touring. Further strengthen its financial position to ensure sustainability, and lead the Marketing and Communications, Development, Finance and Administration, Human Resources, and Production teams in achieving the goals of the strategic plan.
You are experienced in working effectively with a Board, and in building relationships with key supporters – audiences, governments, sponsors, donors, granting councils, foundations, and partners and peers in the arts community. Strategic, disciplined, financially astute, and a talented public speaker and negotiator, you are also a trusted coach, mentor, and team leader. Apply your passion for performing arts with your proven general management and change management skills, to enable a strategic plan that will bring to the world the incomparable pleasures, visions, and illuminations that dance at its best can provide.
